I bow down before the wisdom of mizz gurlee (as usual). I’ve been trying to think of the perfect way to express this for weeks, the absolute necessity that a man MUST call the next day after sex:
“wether it was good or bad, wether or not you have regrets and wether or not you plan to do it again, cuz you know, its good NOT to burn bridges and most importantly because calling the next day prevents anyone from feeling like a dirty whore for a week.”

You didn’t mean that? You meant the guy should call you every time he has sex with you? Is this once per act or one call would do for the whole night? You didn’t mean that either? You meant that after a one night stand he has to call you. Good idea in theory but like say he doesn’t want to see you again, wouldn’t that just raise your hopes up? If he calls and doesn’t want to see you again but is like, last night was really great, see you around some time, aren’t you going to feel used and/or inadequate i.e. a lousy lay?
What about if you pick up a guy and screw him for the night knowing its just a one-night thing,do you have to phone him? Or do you just rejoice in being a dirty whore

Its been a while since I did a one night stand, I always got up early and left and never invited them round to my place. I never gave out my phone number. Sometimes they would find me again. It hurts a lot less to have fun and do the rejecting and feel like a cool, brittle sophisticate in the right shoes than it does to wait around and prove to yourself and all around you that you are really just an egocentric quivering bunch of needy emotions waiting to jello all over the place. I never gave a one night stand a chance.
But yep with age and lack of a present sex life, your probably right, always phone.
