Back when I had cable, I really came to respect that show; it often had very funny stuff that I could enjoy, and still appealed to the youngsters. Some real smart folks contribute to that absorbent guy.

SpongeBob is the only show my daughter watches that I can stand. We have our favorites – mine, of course, is the one where they learn curse words and are bleeped out every other word. I’m such a good mother.

I remember when I first saw this popular “Sponge” and thought what the heck – it’s a talking sponge…who cares! But my kid started watching it at some point and I realized that it was rather clever and funny. It’s hard to find very clever and funny cartoons these days.
