We like it; we love it
skakin’ our ample bootay
a full moon fever
yep, old ladies on the makeSuz and I went to a punk show last night. we were the only adults that weren’t there making sure their teens weren’t doing drugs… excepts for the freaky woman with the little kids (I had a flash of– is she going to try to beat me up?). one tiny boy had a waist-length mullet. I felt judgemental and bitchy… and it felt gooooood. I wore dark jeans, silver lame’ chucks, a black tee, and a volcom army jacket.
Suz’s Hannah was there (I did her hair… black and platinum blonde) but my Dyl was not. we had kids coming up and talking with us. I loved it. I’m booked for homecoming hair.
ANYway, we were there to see Waiting For Darryl
and stayed for Mechanical DollsI knew I’d like Darryl, I’d at least heard their music… but I loved Mechanical Dolls. they have that unbelievable confidence, like rockstars. Darryl does too, but these were GIRLS. the drummer would spin-toss her right stick while running the other one down her tongue with this fierce look on her face. yeeeeeeeah… mmmmmm. the music was first rate. I loved it.

sounds awesome. that’s one thing I really miss about being a dumb teenager, so many people I knew were in bands. even if it the music sucked out loud, it was fuuun.
That sounds like a LOT of fun!
excellent!
*smile* Glad you had fun.
yay for sexy, live music.
ryc: yeah, I have 2 [coach bags] I got from ebay (they’re legit) and I use them so often, I’ll have them forever. I dunno if I can justify getting another one… maybe if I can find one I like (that’s not too expensive) in a more versatile color.
I miss going to live shows.
Glad you had fun-and got some clients out of the deal!
