  • it’s not ok to call it “jewish rye” – what I really want to know is, are those bagels more or less popular?

    I can never make youtube videos work either – it’s a conspiracy.

  • Hm… are they kosher? My mom was talking about how she bought “jewish rye” bread to feed my father’s jewish friends sandwiches, but then forgot to keep the bread and the cheese separate.

    I loooove the sarah silverman video. Have you seen “Jesus is Magic?” I rented it the other day… it’s crazy, but pretty funny.

  • The noun Jewish rye bread has one meaning:

    Meaning #1: (Jewish cookery) bread made with rye flour; usually contains caraway seeds
    Synonym: Jewish rye

    I THINK it’s actually a specific type. Search “jewish rye” in google. I guess it’s opposed to German rye which doesn’t seem to contain caraway seeds… and other types. I’m such a nerd.

  • I don’t have a clever comment to Jewish rye. …

  • are you sure it wasnt some subliminal call to arms? “Jewish Rise!”

  • sort of like italian canoli…

  • For some reason Jewish Rye never bothered me.

    But then again, I”m not PC

  • I stand happily corrected.

    (but Sienna… that would be Catholic Cannoli)
    (mmmmmm… cannoli ::drooool::)

  • Well, there’s always Mexican Chocolate…
    Sarah Silverman is awesome!
