If your house was burning down and you only had time to save one thing, what would it be?
I just answered this Featured Question, you can answer it too!
obviously it would be the children, but they’re off with their dad. then it would be the cat. I adore her. she bites me. she glares at me. and I adore her some more. but of all my material things it would be Brownie, my stuffed dog. I got him when I was two. I even promised him that if the house was ever burning down that I would save him. he lives in my nightstand and when things get really bad I haul him into bed with me. Brownie makes things better.

Having Libra, I would not be able to decide so I would leave it all. (assuming children are out of the house)
I think Brownie has a drinking problem…but it’s awesome that you still love him.
Aww. I have a threadbare stuffed seal like that. His name is Finnegan. When i was a little kid I used to lie awake and ponder questions like that; i was so neurotic that i planned a complete stuffed animal/ favorite pictures/ pet hamster/ wake the parents strategy all worked out in case of emergency.

i would die in the fire trying to figure out which of my useless stuff to grab. i should probably grab my hard drive because it’s got all the pictures.

What would I save….? oh gosh. I would be devastated should I lose this house. But I’d save my cats and pictures of my parents. That will be all my children will ever know are pictures and stories….
