the boy has spoken
me: couldn’t you just walk from Auntie Kelly’s to Randy’s?
Dyl: no mom, that’s a long and treacherous road.
[Pause]
Jane (spoken with disdain): you could walk on the sidewalk.**************
[driving by a shiny, black volvo]
Dyl (ever so slightly acerbically): woah… sweet WAGON.I swear our best family moments happen when we’re all in the car.

US TOO! The car has the most precious and memorable moments. Its the reason I take time once a week to take the kids for a drive.
Jane.. the wise one..lol.
I absolutely LOVE car moments like that!
I first grew close with my best friend while teaching him to drive. America’s a nation on wheels, baby.
*SOB!* I miss my car!!!!!!!!!!!!

fiesty kids
Bwahahah……Those two are classic.
Our moments like that usually happened at the dinner table, and were usually relatively inappropriate. No wonder we’re so dysfunctional.
I love to read about your moments with your kids, freaking awesome!!
Peds too.. The whole shebang with feet and nails. I seriously doubt Ill actually do feet.. they creep me out. People just dont take care of them. Ick. Ill have to get over my severe case of the creepies in order to want to do pedicures.
The only time my son and I really talk is on the way to school as the rest of the time we have our noses in our computers. Drive time is family time!
