cleaning rugs with snow
I was thinking about this today. I think I remember it from some book I read as a kid, probably either A. E. Rolvaag’s Giants in the Earth or some Laura Ingalls Wilder tome. So I looked it up on the internet:
cleaning rugs with snow
yep, just how I remembered.
***edited to add– I don’t want to frighten anyone; I wasn’t actually cleaning anything. I just noticed the effect of brushing powder off my suede boots and this came to mind.

is that like the way i clean my car with pop cans and granola bar wrappers?
I just read the description of how to clean a rug with snow and let me just say that I’d sooner go broke buying new rugs each time one got dirty than go through that whole process.
I got a book for Christmas and I think it suggests some Really Good Ways of getting anything cleaned, its called Porn for Women.
Happy New Year!
god i hope i never reach the stage of life where i equate cleaning with porn. although i do treat my maid service like a bunch of hookers. maybe that counts.
Wow. I’ll probably never get the initiative to do it but wow.
Seriously … I was beginning to swoon, “she’s cleaning?!”
Luckily I was able to recover quickly and read on …
interesting!
i have on occasion for lack of anything better, cleaned my hands with dirt.
