Rowan Atkinson played Mr. Bean as well as Blackadder. both series were written by Richard Curtis who wrote the screenplay for Four Weddings and a Funeral and wrote and directed Love Actually.
I have never seen the Blackadder! I will look into it now, thank you!

myself, I thought when Rik Mayall (of ‘The Young Ones’) made an appearance as Captain Flashheart was one of the funniest things I’d ever seen.
