I’m very busy
but also very happy.
I’m putting this up cos I may want to see these lyrics again and they were hard to find:
Marooned Without You
(from Joe vs. the Volcano)Written by John Patrick Shanley. Music by Georges Delerue.
Why is my heart marooned without you
The sun goes down
My dreams begin their refrain
I call to whatever holds you
My beloved
I wait and I waitWhy is my heart marooned without you
A tiny light upon the sea
My heart is so afraid
You have broken away
Tell me, darling, I pray
You will come to me soon

Damn me for being all late ‘n’ such… Mandrake stole my line. Well technically it wasn’t mine since I was late, as previously mentioned. Still, very good for you!
glad you’re staying out of trouble!
have a great fourth!
Hey, thanks for putting the lyrics up for Marooned Without You! They really were hard to find. Joe vs. the Volcano was such a great simple, mindless and fun movie! As I remember; it never was very popular. I saw it in a theater with my family and was the only one that really liked it a lot. This one is really good to watch if you really hate your job. This marooned song and the song that the lamp played in the movie go through my head sometimes and I haven’t seen it in years. They don’t make movies like that anymore; that’s for sure. Thanks again, -V
cool.
I’m glad someone it touches someone else as deeply as it touches me.
