my boy.
my son, Dylan, is living in Moss, Norway (south of Oslo) with his ex-girlfriend and her family and is really, really lonely. he’s currently looking for a new living situation, like another homestay or some kids to apartment share. I think he’d even be happy just to have someone with whom to go have coffee. seriously lonely. do you know anyone there?

Any chance Nina (Mellom) knows someone in Oslo? I realize Trondheim is a ways north from Oslo, but in her industry she’s bound to have contacts. D’you have her email?
doh. that really sucks for the kid. (I thought I hit submit but the comment has been sitting here for hours, now). and I don’t know anyone over there, just italy and england. I wish him good luck and some company.

I don’t have her email and frankly I was wondering about her. she used to be on xanga but I don’t think she is anymore. I couldn’t find her on my sites I read list but she may have changed her name too.

Is he committed to staying in Norway (work or school or anything?) Because that fucking sucks, I can relate. And, sorry, I thought I had a friend there to pass on, but turns out she’s in Sweden. Check http://www.couchsurfing.com — and there are lots of websites for expats, backpackers, English-speakers trying to connect abroad, etc. — just a matter of a little web-browsing. Poor mini-satori.
