  • Does carrying on a two way conversation with my cat or bird count? Two way in that I respond to my dorky comments with a special voice for them responding to me…maybe I shouldn’t have shared this with the whole class…

  • Was it good for you?

  • Damn queenie for beating me to it, down to the animal species! Although I don’t respond to myself in a special voice…they talk back, of course. She’s clearly crazy

  • I talk to myself out loud all the time, when I think nobody can hear me, about whatever’s on my mind at the moment.  Lately I’ve been running lines of dialogue from stories I have in my head and rehearsing what I would say to my new favorite author if I met him at a fan convention.

  • It’s like Tourette’s, random bits of whatever. I’m never usually alone though, 4 dogs, 1 cat, & 1 dude. But I carry on some thrilling dialogue inside my own head.  I probably talk to myself more in the car, but I would attribute that to road rage.

  • @Scriveling -

cripes! I was reminded of P.G. Wodehouse just recently and I’ve got “Bertie Wooster” stuck in my head… as in I’m walking down the hall and whisper, “Bertie Wooster.” or when I’m taking out the trash. it just sounds good in my head. man, at least Those Two up there are talking to a living being…

  • Sometimes, I look up into the air and ponder aloud, “I wonder what Satori is thinking …”

Most of the time it’s, “How will I pay my bills THIS month?”

  • @BlueCollarGoddess -

    hey~! that is what I am thinking~!

  • By the way, I wasn’t telling you to knock it off. That’s what I say to myself… all the time.

  • I get on my own nerves quite a bit.

  • @siennachartreuse -

oh I get it… and got it. me too, btw.

    bertie WOOSTER…

  • “OMG! I can’t believe you just said that!!”
