so this is what fronts my new astrology study notebook.
I drew it last summer as the plan for a mural I never did in the girls’ room. I guess I could do it in their new room. there is also an accompanying design for a princess loft bed. we went with some wall sconcing and draped net instead.

so, I got a god damn job. part time. I’m fucking freaked out, but not as badly as I was. we shall see.
retail help in a studio/shop… the people are cool. dress is casual. we shall see. let’s just say, if someone were to drop dead and leave me a lot of money I probably wouldn’t go.

just for the record, not that it actually makes any difference, you know, but… god damn job is one of the angriest songs I know. I kinda got pushed into lookeing, knowwhatImean? I just had to take some time to seperate my feelings about getting pushed, from my feelings about the actual job.

I’m not too sure the FAA has cleared you for that particular manuever…the ‘flying fuck’ that is.
And ‘I’ knew it was all about Kelly…that’s what the casting director told me when he hired me for this gig…
An old and uber-wise friend once told me, “You know it’s okay if you loose this job…hell, you were looking for work when I found this one!” He also was the originator of, “Just because it’s impossible doesn’t mean we shouldn’t do it!” And he was the last of a dying breed that actually COULD do exactly that. So…carpe denim (yeah that one was mine…grab your pants) and take no prisoners…but do take breaks.

No wait, DO pack chili for lunch…I’ve been looking at working again too, but this roller coaster of a life dictates that I won’t be considering it this week, even though we don’t have milk money. I’m actually jealous to hear that returning to work involves something in retail. As a mom afraid of returning to the workforce, for some reason that sounds easier.

I’m hoping the next real job I’ll have will be something related to the field I want to go to school for over the next 8 years or so… I think you are brave for doing what you’re doing. I can’t handle it.
