i thought you were talking about coyote ugly!
coyote can come to my house, because I’m waiting. and once he gets here, he won’t be hungry anymore.
If that is Coyote…..
Life is insatiable.
coyote needs to go to IHOP.
the back roads (that are becoming less back-roady everyday, damn this city) I take to the monkey’s house cut right through an area that used to be just fields and hills since forever… I occasionally see a coyote on the side of the road. at night his eyes are glowing. during the day he just looks magnificent. I always tell him to go away, that people are going to hurt him if he stays but I guess that’s his territory and a few thousand houses aren’t turning him away. I hope he likes house cats. yum yum.
D’you know the Joni Mitchell song?
I dont know what you are talking about..I am always in the dark! But hey, just thought I would come meet a fellow Santas helper from Riotts site..
There must be some good coyote bars in Seattle.
i hope he don’t get shot by no sheep farmer!
Wondering if you mean The Trickster from the native americans mythology.
yup. I heard the line on kellerman’s coyote waits last night on pbs mystery. it was in reference to harsh fate, and a kind of acceptance of it. you can’t change the fact that coyote wait, and coyote is always hungry, but you can accept it.
Acceptance of harsh fate…huh. Well. I dunno, I’ll work on it.
Is that Adam Beech in the photo? Personally, I try to avoid Coyote as much as possible especially when I’m walking Maisy. There’s a few living at the top of our hill. I don’t want my little doggy meeting that kind of fate. -M
I watched this last night as well. I really enjoyed it, though I couldn’t quite remember the book. I read an interview with Tony Hillerman and he pretty much said that he doesn’t really care if the film versions of his books, are different, because the media is completely different. I thought that was interesting. He was a consultant on these films though, so I guess he has a say.
I have always imagined Leaphorn being older, though. Maybe it’s just because I haven’t read the early books in so long, before he retired, etc.
why does douching sound scary? have you ever done it?
no, that’s why it sounds scary! (although, I am sure it isn’t…)
I feel a porno script comming on!
It’s true.
And he’s always missing the Road Runner by *that much*
