yesterday my son and I were discussing the classic half full/half empty analogy and I had the sudden realization of my own outlook model:
the glass is half full, and usually gets kicked over.
oh yeah, and did I mention it’s a glass of milk, so for years afterward you’re thinking, good god, what died?
and that‘s all I have to say about that.

okay, doh, I found it on ebay… and I thought, do I really need to spend money on this? I’m a big girl. I need to get over it. I’ll hang onto the money and put it towards my “mama needs a hot tub” fund.
ooh…i’ll have to look for one of those at a toy store near my apartment…it’s a funky old toy shop that has all sorts of obscure stuff…their stock ranges from star wars to jesus action figures and beyond…
and wouldn’t a jesus action figure just be timely?
