I need a gutter. my front walk is an ice floe. a few more years and my children will just set me out on the front porch one day. last week my mother looked at my dripping icicles and said, “you really need a gutter!” last summer when she was helping me get my house put together, I made some calls and found out that it was significantly more expensive to get gutters installed after fall. I told mom and she said, “oh (pish) you don’t need gutters!”
sigh. last summer she was loaning me money to do the stuff. now I get to decide to shell out more or wait and hope no one falls and sues me. sigh.
maude, I hope she’s not reading this one…
oh, and because she can’t watch my kids on the weekend I’m going away, I shouldn’t be going that weekend. in fact, a good mother just wouldn’t be going away that weekend. hand me that ice pick over there; I need to chip off my sidewalk then ram it through my eye into my brain.
I hope she’s not reading today.
and I forgot to make my car payment. just forgot. sigh. I forgot to take the trash out. forgot it was tuesday. thing is, I’m in a decent mood and all, just nothing. I just want to watch buffy. pffffffff.

mmmm buffy. i think “touched” wins the award for my favorite episode that season . . . as best i can remember anyway.
i forgot to make my car insurance payment. thankfully they got my payment right after they cancelled me so they were nice and reinstated it. hope your car payment situation comes out equally well.
I forgot my cc payment and now they are going to get me for massive interest.
I kind of drifted from the Buffy-verse a little, but the one episode that always, every time, hits me in the solar plexus and makes me sob, is The Body. And Graduation. And Becoming. And Innocence. And.. okay, maybe I didn’t drift that far..
I dunno about gutters.. here, if it’s on the pavement it’s the council’s responsibility. Same in Australia. I don’t understand how you could be liable if it isn’t on your property, and if it is, why are people walking on it?

Had to giggle over the ice floe visual….that’s how my hubby and I figure we’ll go.

id put a gutter up for. but i live in florida, we just need them for the rain. need transmision badly. find me one and ill come put your gutter up so you can just lay around and watch buffy. with both eyes
we need heater things on our roof to melt ice. one year the ice dammed up and we had a terrible leak in our bedroom. now whenever there is ice on the roof, and the weather turns mild I get nervous. also my library roof is leaking. tomorrow is rain. tonight is fog. silly winter weather for ontario.
